The 7829 Viscomaster Series Viscosity transmitters from Solartron Mobrey are used for the measurement and control of heavy fuel oil (HFO) in marine and power applications.


The 7829 Viscomaster and 7829 Viscomaster Dynamic Viscosity Transmitters are a major innovation in the measurement of all types of fuel oil that supply engines, turbines and burners.

The 7829 Viscomaster Viscosity Transmitter simultaneously measures real-time viscosity, density and temperature and can be configured to output either dynamic or kinematic viscosity.


As a vibrating element transducer, the 7829 Viscomaster Viscosity Transmitter complements the 7829 Visconic and 7827 Digital Viscometer, and incorporates all the advantages that this technique has over capillary, orifice and rotational viscometers.
As an established, proven design, the 7829 Viscomaster Viscosity Transmitter has been approved by Lloyds Register for Marine environments and has a wide range of equivalent worldwide Marine approvals.
