The 7827 digital viscometer is used for quality and analytical measurements where it is the kinematic viscosity at a reference temperature that is required to be measured.

When 7827 digital viscometers are used in conjunction with the 795x Series Signal Converters, a variety of referral methods are used to compute the reference temperature viscosity from the viscosity measured at the process temperature.

7827 digital viscometers are vibrating element transducers and have many advantages over capillary, orifice and rotational types of viscometers, providing simultaneous measurement of viscosity, density and temperature.
